I get it. He’s handsome, talented and when you see him on the big screen, you can’t take your eyes off of him. He’s perfect, he’s amazing and you want to find out more about him. That’s fine. But when he’s known to abuse women/sexual partners/is involved in violence against women (including total strangers), his fame, his talent—
It doesn’t make his violence okay.
It doesn’t ‘erase’ his violence or make it go away and it shouldn’t ever excuse his disgusting behavior.
But that’s what I see a lot of you doing.
