Both Dean and Cas remember purgatory (or getting out) differently. Maybe that is why the hands are switched?
In 8x02 Dean remembers holding Castiel’s right hand! Benny is in his left hand.
In 8x07 we will see Dean holding Castiel’s left hand while trying to get out of purgatory. Benny was still in his left hand.
Whose flashbacks are the correct ones?
Misha said in the interview that Dean is confused about what happened, and he won’t find out what happened until E7. And truth will hurt!
But let’s not forget that Castiel is being manipulated. And he has no idea how he got out?
